As of September 2026, we have a new Pastoral Team at the school. Our DSLs are:

- Bev Sharp, Child Welfare Officer & deputy DSL
- Cat Mooney, Teaching Assistant (with specialist SEN provision) & deputy DSL

The school has adopted and promotes the local authority's whistleblowing policy which can be found here. This is a commitment that anyone who has serious concerns about any aspects of Shawclough's work, an individual's behaviour or conduct can go forward to voice those concerns.
